Thank you for stopping by. I m sure it was a Beaver and not an Otter. I remember and can still hear that slap of his tail on the water as he went under. That woke me up fast. It was very loud. I have heard that sound many many times in my Life.
I think otters are smaller too but not certian. Some Nature watcher I am . I have to look that up and see the difference between the two. Have a Great Week Lisa

Good Morning, Neora....Yes, I heard the Sandhill's talking. Oh my gosh, you can hear them for miles away! They are so awesome! I have enjoyed 'discovering' things I have otherwise missed through the lens of a camera. Thanks for your comments to me, too.
Hugs, Susan

Hi Neora,
Thanks for your comments about my pottery. I actually had to learn how to throw pots, because I was asked to teach a ceramic class to High School students and that was part of the class. I am mostly a handbuilder, but this process has been great for me. I am exploring new glazing techniques. I have arthritis in my hands, so at times this is painful for me as well. Also it hurts my back. I am glad that you enjoy handbuilding, that is a great process. Best regards, Julie
